This weekend was slim on riding as I had a concert to attend. I drove to L.A. with Vance – Sir Vancealot – to the Walt Disney Concert Hall for a symphony concert. Get this – I actually wore heels! Fortunately, there is no photographic evidence of me in heels with my hair curled, but i did get some cool photos of the Frank Gehry designed Disney Hall. We also walked around L.A. a bit, had lunch and a 5 minute salsa lesson while listening to some great Cuban Music in the park (also no photographic evidence.) We stopped by the Museum of Contemporary Art and got a couple pics of the plane wreck style art outside. Even though the training was slim, it was a fun weekend.

Nice. I actually got to ride my bike down there on x-mas day. The LA Wheelmen do christmas day ride that covers all the busy streets not normally open to bikers. Awesome architecture….would have been nice to hear a concert though.

Matt– Ride on in the land of Zia! Cloudcroft and southern NM will always hold a special place in my heart. Get down that way sometime when you have the chance… the area still has a touch of “wild” to it.. for that matter, we had a lot of fun riding in Soccorro with the locals there last October.

I’m not sure, but I think they still have the fall fat tire in Cloudcroft. They do still have the High Altitude Classic in May also. http://www.highaltitude.org/
Some of my fav riding in the country – because it’s home and also out there and beautiful – aspens, fall colors, just gorgeous!
