Kaibab here we come!

So, Brendan and I did a long ride yesterday, now it’s time to taper down for next weekend. We’ve got the Kaibab Monstercross along the kaibab plateau and I’m psyched. It’s 120 miles – about half forest service roads and about half singletrack – some of the most beautiful singletrack there is, along the north rim of the grand canyon and the AZ trail. I’m going out to race, but it will be a personal race, as I don’t know if most people will be racing or riding. Also, with long rides that aren’t really races – you never know what to expect.

I’ll be back next week with photos as we’re camping Friday night, riding Saturday, and then camping again and heading home on Sunday. We’re also carpooling with Brian and Carol Ann, which should be part of the fun!
