Above is Tiffany, from Phoenix, who got her Siren just before TOWM and it was such a delight to finally meet her and see her with it built up. Soooo rewarding! I love how that brown came out.
TOWM is one of those races (usually one or two a year) that I give to Brendan. He gets to meet up with Matt and it’s usually one of the longest rides he gets for the year. It’s good to see him out there riding.
During the race, I worked the expo. Unfortunately, I promptly closed it down once I saw an ezup go flying on top of a car because of the crazy wind. This was one of the tents that stayed staked down – could you imagine being in it? What a ride!
AND NOW… EXCITING STUFF TO COME!
Some of you may know Cat Morrison. She’s quite a hammer and hails from Grand Junction, CO. So far this year, she’s done the following:
- 1st Female Vapor Trail 125
- 1st co-ed 5 person team; 24 Hours in the Sage
- 3rd Solo Female Pro; 12 Hours of Steamboat
- 5th Female Pro; Breckenridge 100
- 3rd Female Pro, 30-39; Front Range 50
- 2nd Solo Female Pro; 18 Hours of Fruita
- Rim Ride, Solo Self-Support: 2nd Female, 14th overall
So, yeah, she’s pretty amazing. With that said, she will be racing Moab this weekend, solo. I’ll be watching the realtime and cheering her on. It’s one hell of a course!
Afterwards, she will be doing a callin to my blog. I can’t wait to hear how it goes and we’ll hear it first thing… here! So, stay tuned for Cat and wish her luck… she’s gonna rock!
